Moissanite Philippines was appointed by Charles & Colvard as the very first international distributor of moissanite gemstones in 1998 and today remians the exclusive distributor of Moissanite in the Philippines. Company president Mia Florencio is an expert gemologist. On April 3, 1998, Charles & Colvard USA appointed Recomira-Ray Corporation as the very first exclusive national distributor of moissanite gemstones and the M590 tester outside America. A month later, Moissanite Philippines was formally launched. In July 1998, the very first moissanite jewel was sold in the Philippines. The Philippines is home to the very first two exclusive Moissanite Jewellery shops in the world. The first shop opened at Glorietta 1 in Ayala Center, Makati in February 16, 1999. The second store in SM City North EDSA was launched in July 16 of the same year. To mark our fifth year, Moissanite Jewellery’s newest store in SM Megamall Building A in Mandaluyong City opened its doors in October 16, 2003. Due to the growing number of women who have discovered and come to love Moissanite in the south, Moissanite Philippines opened its first regional branch in SM City Davao in November 2001 to cater to customers in Mindanao.
